The Town of Swampscott invites you to join a free celebration of history, culture, and tradition at the beautiful and historic White Court Estate on Saturday, September 23, from noon to 3:00 pm.

White Court, a 28-room, oceanfront mansion remains as an example of the iconic era of Swampscott's summer estates. Serving as the 'Summer White House' of President Calvin Coolidge, White Court also has the distinction of being designed by the renowned Boston architect, Arthur Little. Come to the “Welcome to White Court” community event and enjoy a day featuring a show of 1920s-era antique cars, historic memorabilia and talks from the President Coolidge Foundation, family games and activities, refreshments and music--much like a step back in time at this summer estate.

The Town of Swampscott extends this opportunity to residents as well as historic and cultural enthusiasts to be our guests, and to experience the beauty and history that makes White Court one of Swampscott’s and Essex County's remaining grand dames.

The celebration at White Court, 35 Little's Point Road in Swampscott, is free to the public, with capacity of 200 attendees, no tickets required. There will be parking on site, restrooms, and wheelchair accommodation

This event is one of more than 150 FREE events that are a part of Essex Heritage’s TRAILS & SAILS: Two Weekends of Walks & Water, to be held September 15-17 and 22-24, 2017.
