ABSENTEE VOTING FOR THE JUNE 29, 2017 SPECIAL LOCAL ELECTION

 

Absentee Ballots are available NOW in the Swampscott Town Clerk’s Office…

 

The Town Clerk's Office will remain open until 8PM on Friday, June 9th for a voter registration deadline.  Absentee Voting will also be available during this registration period.

 

All applications for absentee ballots must be made in writing. Applications can be mailed or hand delivered. Any form of written communication (letter or postcard) or the official application form is acceptable.   A family member may apply in the same manner for you. You may vote Absentee ballot if you will be absent from the town on Election Day, have a physical disability that prevents your voting at the polling location or cannot vote at the polls due to religious beliefs.  You may vote at the Clerk’s office or request the ballot be mailed to you.  Deadline to apply for an Absentee ballot is no later than 12:00 PM on June 28th.   Absentee ballots must be received in the Clerk’s Office no later than 8PM on Election Day.  An Official Absentee ballot application may also be downloaded on the Secretary of the Commonwealth’s website:
