The Treasurer’s Office preserves, protects and manages the financial resources of the Town, among other responsibilities. The Treasurer is responsible for receipt, accurate accounting and prudent investment of all Town funds to maximize yields while maintaining adequate liquidity and ensuring compliance with Massachusetts General Laws, Town ordinances and any other applicable financial mandates. Responsible for maintaining and paying Town payroll and managing employee benefits, such as, but not limited to, health, dental and life insurance, deferred
compensation, and the Employee Assistance Program.
