This report summarizes the research and discussions of the Humphrey Street Revitalization Committee. This committee, convened by Jill Sullivan of the Planning Board, was formed in response to widespread sentiment for improvements to the downtown that were identified and documented in the 2004 Swampscott Master Plan compiled by the MAPC. Over the past two years, the committee has researched the present character and issues of Humphrey Street and discussed improvements to the area and possible strategies for implementation.
