Assistant Town Engineer
The Town of Swampscott, MA, seeks qualified candidates for the position of Assistant Town Engineer. Duties include designing and managing construction of streets, sidewalks, sewer, water, and drain systems, assisting with providing engineering service to Town boards, managing CIP projects, reviewing subdivisions, permit inspections and record keeping. Inspecting the installation of water and sewer utilities and roadway construction projects. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in civil engineering and two to five years of related professional experience, some design experience and experience with MS Word, Excel, Access, AutoCAD, GIS. Candidates should have a D-2 Drinking Water license, or must be able to obtain license within 6 months. Salary range DOQ with excellent benefits.
