Pet owners are encouraged to bring the family pet to be vaccinated against rabies on SATURDAY, APRIL 5, 2003 at the DPW GARAGE at the TOWN HALL on ELMWOOD RD., SWAMPSCOTT, MA., from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Rabies vaccinations will be administered by the Veterinarians of the Hawthorne Animal Hospital.  The cost of the vaccination will be $10.00.  Please bring proof of any prior rabies vaccines.
All dogs, cats and ferrets living in Massachusetts are required by law to be vaccinated against rabies.
Vaccinating your pet is the best way to prevent the threat of rabies from entering your home.  Keeping your pets up-to-date on their rabies shots is not only the law, it is also in the best interest of your animals and your family.
