Technology Committee
Objective
The Objective of Town of Swampscott Technology Committee is to recommend, assist, and approve the planning, purchasing, development, and support of any and all major technological advances for the Town of Swampscott. The Technology Committee will also serve in an advisory and coordinating capacity on all computer/telecommunication proposals brought before the Capital Improvements Committee. Such advances would include, but not be limited to, cable, computer purchases, software, hardware, networking, and phone systems. The Committee is also responsible for the development, negotiation, and recommendation of a Cable Contract, and any other computer/telecommunication endeavors the Town of Swampscott wishes to engage in.
