Parking Violation Notices must be returned by mail to the Parking Clerk no later than 21 days after the date of the violation. A hearing may be obtained upon written request of the registered owner within 21 days or may be disputed by mail if submitted with supporting documentation. Failure to obey the Violation Notice within 21 days may result in the non-renewal of license to drive and registration of owner. Massachusetts General Law Chapter 90, section 20A1/2, C and D, as amended provides penalty for unlawfully removing, tampering with,
changing or destroying the Violation Notice.
